Take paid contracts, organise a crew, and help rebuild the County. Please remain alive long enough to complicate the paperwork.

Deliver supplies, inspect sites, repair equipment, recover shipments, or answer combat assignments. This guide describes the mod; enabled services and available work depend on the running server. The in-game PDA is authoritative.

Take solo work or coordinate a crew for group contracts. Check the joining rules and payout terms on the PDA; a crew reward is not automatically each member's pay.
Many hands make light work. The signatures remain individual.
Trade through faction shops and contribute to public projects. Eligible faction shops are listed automatically. The faction owner can hide a kiosk from future web and Discord feeds through shop management.
Commerce has resumed. The filing cabinet never stopped.
A County worth surviving in
Find a reason to make the trip home: a paid job finished, a crew counting on you, a business to build, or a familiar voice on the radio. These are development introductions, not confirmation that every service is enabled.
Read the starting paper, visit a Depot and collect your PDA. Review one suitable contract before accepting, then use the PDA to follow progress and confirm the outcome.
Follow the first-day guideDepots, the Motor Pool, property services and Death Insurance give survivors more to plan for. Read the running game's terms before spending; insurance is not a promise of immortality.
Find practical answersCounty recognition, medals, trophies and special equipment give the world its own identity. Acquisition rules and availability must be confirmed in game. Item perks remain proposals unless explicitly announced.
The County values your contribution. Occasionally it expresses this in something other than a form.
County Public Radio · In testing
Survival advice, close calls, questionable commercials and a little company from people trying to hold the County together. Original recordings are being prepared for the mod; playback and reception still need live-game acceptance.
A warm Kentucky welcome meets dry, practical survival advice. They have stories, concerns and remarkably strong opinions about keeping generators outside.
The books need balancing. The pump needs parts. Dale's repair expenses need a separate investigation.
The Motor Pool's enthusiastic car man wants to put you behind the wheel of your dreams, preferably before something hungry catches up.
Radio comedy is fiction, not a service listing. A zombie health-club advertisement does not mean the County has opened a gym.

Evelyn welcomes survivors to County Public Radio. Approved voice-only recording.
Open A little company recording (MP3)
Evelyn: Well, hey there, folks. You're listening to County Public Radio. If you can hear me... you've got a little company. And I mean the kind that doesn't bite. Tune in. We'll be here on County Public Radio.
Mercer and Evelyn discuss generators, unwanted visitors and relatives with an interest in land.
Open County Consumer Advice recording (MP3)
Mercer: Keep your generators outside, folks. Carbon monoxide can kill you before you know anything's wrong.
Evelyn: I hear those generators can attract ZOMBIES!
Mercer: Well, it's true. I seen a whole mess of 'em charge through a fence following the noise.
Evelyn: Lord, like relatives when somebody dies with land.
Mercer: These were easier to reason with.
Evelyn: And probably less interested in the loot.
Mercer: Generator outside. Away from doors and windows.
Evelyn: And keep an eye on what that noise brings home. We want you listening tomorrow, not scratching at the studio door.
After the committee postpones its meeting due to an unforeseen emergency, Evelyn and Mercer review Dale's evacuation plan.
Open The Emergency Preparedness Committee recording (MP3)
Evelyn: Last meeting, their evacuation plan was 'follow whoever screams first.'
Mercer: Got everybody outside. Including that undead feller.
Evelyn: Oh, Lord... Didn't Dale chair that committee?
Mercer: Briefly.
Evelyn: That man keeps his emergency supplies in a bag marked 'probably.'
Mercer: It's a good bag.
Evelyn: It's a pillowcase, Mercer.
County Public Radio is the in-game station. Discord's In-Game Radio channel relays global chat; its County Radio voice room is community voice chat. Follow the Chronicle for approved previews and development updates.

County employment counter
Requesting the County record...
Read-only. Accept through your PDA. Eligibility, cooldowns, and crew availability are checked in game. Discord replies do not reserve work.
County commerce register
Requesting the shop register...
1 Coin = 100 Bits. Read-only prices, not reservations. Stock and final prices are checked at the kiosk. Eligible shops appear automatically unless their owner opts out in shop management. The County advertises commerce; it does not hold your place in line.
Public listings will show when they were updated. Viewing or replying on Discord does not reserve a contract; acceptance happens in game.
Eligible shops are public unless their owner opts out. Hiding a shop removes it from future feeds after the next successful sync; previously delivered Discord posts are not recalled. Missing or outdated data is not an empty shop.
Prices use County Coins and Bits: 1 Coin = 100 Bits. The County accepts small change. It produces plenty itself.
Follow recorded outcomes and County stories. Private balances, home locations, and staff records stay off the press.
